1. Building content. Of course, a blog or web cannot exist without good content. Therefore, building content that is relevant to the affiliate marketing program is important for the success of affiliate marketing. For instance, if you write about food, you should choose the affiliate marketing about food. People will view your web because they are searching information about food, not clothes. So, they won't click the ad of clothes. Instead, they may click the ad of food. That is how it works. Always remember that  "Content should be relevant to affiliate marketing".
2. Getting traffic. After you built your content, next big step is getting traffic to your web. Without traffic, no one click on the affiliate marketing ad on your web. So, getting huge amount of traffic should be your next goal after content. How to get traffic? You need to learn about marketing strategies. If they don't buy anything, the supermarket will declare bankruptcy. In order to turn the people into customers, the supermarket need good strategy such as sales, coupon, and ads.
4. Market research. In order to gain profit from affiliate market, you always need to make market research. Otherwise, you will be out of market soon. You have many smart and experienced competitors. Affiliate marketing is competitive. There are many affiliate marketing programs you can join. But there are bad programs and good programs. Also, many new affiliate programs always come to the market. So, you always need to hunt affiliate programs and news. "Always do your homework, otherwise, your competitors will kick you from the market".
5. Designing Website. This is another important thing you need to remember about developing good affiliate marketing strategy. It may seem not important to you, but it is actually quite important. People like to surf the net and read a web that has beautiful design. "Content is the most important, but somehow, good design makes content good too". People are naturally attracted to colors and beautiful images. So, you need to design your web interestingly and shiny that can get noticed by people.
